As a kid JP tinkered with early computers, hooked them up to improvised devices, connected them with modems built from plumbing supplies and dipped circuit boards in acid in his bedroom - all in an attempt to send bits at very low speeds over the nascent Internet. JP then focused on his almost-successful alt-rock career & studies before becoming CTO and then CEO of Burda Digital. Now JP builds 3D printers, studies massive data & works on cheap old Italian cars in his spare time.
