Qualitative UX Researcher (m/f/d)

We are looking for motivated talents who will help everyone to focus on, understand, and empathize with the user. You will work together with UX researchers, designers, engineers, and product managers to make sure that our privacy-by-design browsers are centered around user needs and informed by user research.

Your Responsibilities

  • You define and execute plans for high-impact UX research and drive change by communicating findings to stakeholders in the company
  • You work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and fellow researchers to define UX goals and metrics
  • You generate and test hypotheses to understand user attitudes, behaviors, and motivations to inform product development
  • You examine and test existing products to identify usability issues and areas for improvement
  • You are the voice of our users and represent them in product decision processes

Your Profile

  • You have a university degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience in the form of work experience)
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience as UX Researcher in a product-oriented environment
  • You have expertise in using multiple research methods (e.g., surveys, interviews, and on-site/remote usability studies) and understand the strengths and shortcomings of each method
  • You have expertise in integrating user research into product design and development
  • You have experience in experimental design and statistics
  • You have excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
