Cliqz Browser Release Notes 1.17.2 (57.0.2+1.23.0)
Just before the Holidays, Cliqz features a new beautiful winter background image on Cliqz Tab. This release also comes with an improved Video Downloader, an update to Firefox 57.0.2 and more.
What is new?
New Background Image. Enjoy a winter wonderland as your background image on Cliqz Tab. The new background is a seasonal addition to a growing selection of images to choose from in the Cliqz Tab settings menu.
What is better?
Update to Firefox 57.0.2. We make sure to update to new Firefox versions as fast as possible to keep your browser secure and stable. The update to Firefox 57.0.2 contains a few important fixes for our Windows users.
Improved Video Downloader. We improved the Video Downloader built into the Cliqz browser, which allows you to easily download YouTube videos to your devices. You can now choose between different video formats not only when downloading to your computer, but also to a connected mobile device. We also simplified the Connect setup: if your smartphone or tablet is not yet connected to your desktop browser, a new Video Downloader dialog will display a download guide for the Cliqz App and a QR code. The updated Connect settings page indicates the current status of your connection and gives an overview of all the features available across the devices. What is fixed?
Blank Connect Page. This release fixes a problem where the Connect Settings page was blank in Cliqz browser.
