Cliqz Browser Release Notes 1.19.2 (59.0.3+1.27.0)

Spring background image. Spring has arrived, accompanied by a new background image for Cliqz Tab, selectable from the settings menu.

Cliqz quick search results rendering. We implemented fundamental changes to the URL bar dropdown that instantly displays Cliqz search results. These changes aim to allow for more scalability and flexibility for future developments. As a user, you should not notice any differences.

Your feedback on MyOffrz. We really do want to know what you think about the offers presented in Cliqz, so we added and improved quick and easy feedback options.

Import bookmarks, passwords and history from other browsers. Want to take a look around and familiarize yourself with the Cliqz Browser before you import all your data from another browser? Cliqz now shows a message on Cliqz Tab to new users which offers an easy way to start the import process.

Query highlighted in search results. Sometimes the search term is part of a website’s address, but not included in the page title. For such cases, we now highlight the search query inside the result URL, too.

More information on blocked advertising providers. The Cliqz Control Center harbours our ad-blocking functions next to anti-tracking and other privacy and security related features. On any page where advertisements are blocked by Cliqz, you can now get more information about the providers behind these blocked ads. In the Control Center, click on “Ad-block”. Click on any of the provider names in the list shown. You will be directed to the Who Tracks Me page for the respective company.

Multiple small improvements … were released for our search results, Most visited and Favorite Top Sites on Cliqz Tab, MyOffrz campaigns, performance and stability.

Instant Calculator Results. Want to know how much your annual subscription to that fancy new gym will cost? Type 69 * 12 into the URL bar and Cliqz will give you the answer instantly. You can now click on the result to copy it (this had been broken and fixed). Or, you decide to focus on the fitness benefits rather than the costs when emailing your friends about it…

Double scroll bar. In some cases on Windows computers, the MyOffrz Reward Box included 2 scroll bars. We fixed this issue.
